Student tuition fees
Every student has an individual fee sheet, automatically generated at enrolment based on the fee structures configured for their level.

Student fee sheet
The sheet shows for each fee type:
- Type — Tuition, Registration, Transport, Canteen, Uniform, Exams, Event, Other
- Total amount due
- Amount paid
- Remaining balance
- Status — Up to date / Partial / Overdue
If instalments have been configured, each instalment appears with its due date and status.
Recording a payment
- Open the student's profile
- Click "Record a payment"
- Fill in:

- Confirm — the fee sheet is updated and the transaction is recorded
Payment receipt
After each recorded payment, you can generate a PDF receipt to give to the parent. The receipt includes: student name, fee type, amount, date, institution stamp.
Editing a payment
Recorded payments can be edited by a user with the PAYMENTS_MODIFY permission. To correct an entry error, click on the payment → "Edit".
HEMLE integrates online payment via PawaPay (Mobile Money). Parents can pay directly from the mobile app without travelling. Payment is automatically validated upon receipt of PawaPay confirmation.
