Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using HEMLE School Hub ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

These Terms are effective as of May 2026 and are maintained by IBS.

2. Description of Service

HEMLE is a school management platform that connects schools, parents, and students. Features include:

• Academic results and report cards • Attendance tracking • School schedule and events • Secure messaging between parents and teachers • School discovery and enrollment applications • Payment and tuition management • Push notifications for school updates

3. User Accounts

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.

Accounts are created for parents, students, teachers, or administrators. Access and permissions depend on your role as assigned by your school.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose • Upload or share content that is harmful, abusive, or discriminatory • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or school data • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity of the service • Share your credentials with unauthorized users • Use the App to send spam or unsolicited messages

5. School Data and Responsibilities

Schools that subscribe to HEMLE are responsible for ensuring that student data shared through the platform complies with applicable laws. HEMLE acts as a data processor on behalf of schools for school-managed data.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and trademarks within HEMLE are the property of IBS. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the App without express written permission.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or harmful components.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, IBS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time. Termination does not affect rights or obligations that arose before termination.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via the App or email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cameroon. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Yaoundé, Cameroon.
